Boys Director Hector Kiely would like to Welcome Marissa Dixon to the 2019-2020 coaching staff. "Marissa brings great energy and a passion for the game. She has coached at the club level for five seasons, middle school six seasons and high school one season, thus making this decision really easy for me as she has the flexibility to coach at multiple levels.”

Marissa started her coaching career at Holy Family as an assistant coach for the girl’s team. While there she helped guide them to two conferences championships in a row with undefeated seasons. She would later go on and coach the schools coed teams leading them to 3 first place tournament finishes and boasts three consecutive undefeated seasons. Dixon that “This grew my passion of volleyball” and started coaching club with her most recent team being a very successful boy’s 16U team last season.  

Coach Dixon is currently the head coach of the boy’s JV team at Joliet Catholic Academy, while also assistant on the varsity staff. Coaches family is no stranger to the sport either as currently her daughter is a freshman on Joliet Junior College volleyball program and her son will be a junior at Joliet Catholic Academy where he started varsity last season.

With the addition of coach Dixon, UNO Boys Volleyball now has three local high school Junior varsity coaches on staff. Welcome to UNO!
