Coming in as the No. 2 overall seed to start the tournament, UNO 17 Elite would show they were the true number UNO by winning the 17 American division at the USAV Girls Junior National Championships in Detroit. 

The members of this championship team will forever be a part of UNO history as they where the first team to win a national championship in the 30 year history of the program.
