JOLIET - Volleyball coach Dan Brown recently added Tracy Thompson as assistant volleyball coach. 

Thompson brings over 16 years of coaching experience to the program between club and high school volleyball. 

She has worked for Uno Volleyball Club in Joliet since 2001 with all ages and levels of boys and girls and taken multiple teams to the USAV Girls National Junior Championships and the AAU National Championships.

"I look forward to working with coach Brown to continue adding to my knowledge of the game," Thompson said. "Taking an athlete and teaching them the game, physically and mentally, is truly rewarding.  This position at JJC has afforded me a great opportunity to teach and foster the love of volleyball at the next level."

The Wolves will open their slate at the Event Center on Aug. 23 at 6 pm against Kishwaukee.
